Ben Weyer and Brennan Hall were selected as the OMEGA Processing CO-Players of the Game as NewCath defeated Covington Catholic 52-47 in the 9th Region Championship.
Hall scored 15 points (12 in the 2nd half) and was the floor general for NewCath. Hall also named to the All-Tournament team. Weyer recorded 22 points, 12 rebounds and 7 blocks to lead the Breds. Weyer was also named the MVP of the tournament.
This will be NewCath's first trip back to the Sweet 16 since 2000.
