The OMEGA Processing / ProScan Imaging Game of the Week webcast features CovCath (5-2) vs Highlands (1-6).
You can usually throw records out the door for this game but if CovCath is going to beat Highlands for the first time since 2006, this is the year to do so. Highlands is coming off a 40-20 loss to Dixie last week, their first loss to Dixie since 2002. CovCath trounced Grant County 56-7 last week.
CovCath’s offense is led by Junior QB AJ Mayer and Sophomore RB Casey McGinness. Mayer has thrown for 1,592 yards and 14 TD’s while McGinness has rushed for nearly 600 yards and 6 TD’s to go along with 239 receiving yards.
For Highlands, the offense has also been productive. Senior QB Grady Gosney has thrown for 1,676 yards and 15 TD’s, and the running back duo of Grant Murray and Jared Pulsfort have combined for 901 yards and 12 TD’s.
The Bluebirds will have to play better defensively to win this game. This is always a big game for both teams and CovCath will try and stop the 15-game winning streak Highlands has against them.

Game of the Week Replay
Senior QB Patrick Henschen was our ProScan Imaging Offensive Player of the Game as NewCath defeated Holy Cross 21-0. Henschen threw for 147 yards and 1 TD and also rushed for 45 yards.
Job Freppon was our OMEGA Processing Defensive Player of the Game. The Senior DB had 2 interceptions and 5 tackles for the Breds.

Ryle (7-0) at Conner (6-1)
Conner has moved up to #5 in our rankings and will take on #1 Ryle at home. Last week Ryle held on to defeat Cooper 49-42 while Conner destroyed Campbell County 44-0. This will be a good test to see how good Conner is and also a big District game for both teams. Conner is 3-8 all-time against Ryle and lost last year 46-34.
NewCath (3-4) at Lloyd (4-3)
This is another big District game for these Class 2A schools. A win for the Breds will solidify a #1 seed in their District for the playoffs. Last week NewCath beat Holy Cross 21-0 while Lloyd beat Newport 58-0. NewCath is 13-0 since 2005 against Lloyd.
Dayton (2-5) at Bellevue (1-6)
This is round 2 for the river city rivalry schools as Dayton beat Bellevue 14-13 in Week 2. This should be another competitive District game between these 2 schools and a fun one to watch. Bellevue had won 10 straight over Dayton until the recent win earlier this season.
