The OMEGA Processing / ProScan Imaging Game of the Week webcast features Simon Kenton (8-0) vs Ryle (8-0).
This has been a much anticipated game in Northern Kentucky between the top two teams. Ryle has been our #1 ranked team pretty much all season with Simon Kenton at #2. Each team is undefeated and both are playing well.
Last week Simon Kenton took care of Campbell County 50-20 while Ryle held off Conner 42-28. The Pioneers are stacked on offense and have many players they can go to. They have 2 Quarterbacks in the top 10 in NKY combining for 2,124 yards and 25 TD’s with Cam Racke and Matt Shearer. And they have 3 Wide Receivers in the top 10 combining for 1,372 and 19 TD’s (Fisher Hayden, Sam Murray, Luke Vance).
Ryle’s offense has some very good threats as well with the trio of QB Tanner Morgan, RB Jacob Chisholm and WR Bryce Ashley. Morgan has thrown for 1,655 yards and 12 TD’s, Chisholm has rushed for 1,002 yards (#2 in NKY) and 13 TD’s, and Ashley has 45 receptions for 653 yards and 7 TD’s.
Overall these two teams are 7-7 against each other but Simon Kenton has won the past 5 games.

Game of the Week Replay
AJ Mayer was our OMEGA Processing Offensive Player of the Game as CovCath defeated Highlands for the first time in 10 years 63-26. The Junior QB rushed for 168 yards and 4 TD's to go along with 1 TD pass and 93 passing yards.
Ben France was our ProScan Imaging Defensive Player of the Game as he had several key stops against Highlands and recorded 6 solo tackles.

Conner (6-2) at Cooper (6-3) (Saturday)
This is a big District game between these two Class 6A schools. Conner gave Ryle a very good game last week before falling 42-28. And Cooper beat Boone County 41-13. Cooper has the leading passer and receiver in NKY with Jared Lonaker throwing for an astounding 2,571 yards and 28 TD’s already. He’s been throwing to Dante Hendrix who has 55 receptions for 1,140 yards and 18 TD’s. Conner is 5-4 all-time against Cooper but the Jaguars have won the past 3 games.
Dixie (5-3) at CovCath (6-2)
Both these teams are playing well and this should be another great game to watch. Dixie defeated Grant County last week 39-0 while CovCath had a huge win over Highlands 63-26. This is also a big District game and whomever wins this game will get the #1 seed to begin the playoffs. CovCath has won 9 straight over Dixie.
Lloyd (4-4) at Holy Cross (5-3) (Saturday)
Lloyd and Holy Cross are playing for the #2 seed in their District for the playoffs. Lloyd lost to NewCath last week 28-18 while Holy Cross beat Newport 56-0. Lloyd has won 4 games in a row over Holy Cross.
