| 12 Northern Kentucky Teams Advance |

This past Friday night the Kentucky State Football playoffs started with 20 NKY teams and now it's down to 12. The biggest surprise was in Class 5A action as Highlands lost to Doss 52-32. Another mild surprise was Brossart falling to Raceland 47-21 in Class 1A. All the other games were the expected results.
So next week Northern Ky has 12 teams playing in the 2nd Round of the State Football Playoffs. Of the 8 games being played 4 games are between NKY teams so we will have at least 4 teams out next Friday.
Here's the schedule for November 11:
Louisville Holy Cross at Beechwood (1A)
Holy Cross at Walton Verona (2A)
Lloyd at NewCath (2A)
Dixie at Fern Creek (5A)
Doss at CovCath (5A)
Campbell Co at Simon Kenton (6A)
Conner at Scott Co (6A)
Cooper at Ryle (6A)
