This past week there were a couple of upsets for NKY Boys Basketball. St. Henry (9-5) defeated Holmes (9-5) 50-41 giving the Bulldogs their 3rd straight loss. Then Boone County (13-4) upset Simon Kenton (12-2) 59-56 on the same evening. Covington Catholic (10-4) is now ranked #1 in the KY Enquirer Coaches Poll, followed by Brossart (12-2), Simon Kenton, St. Henry and Holy Cross (5-6).
For the NKY Girls basketball action, Simon Kenton (11-2) had an impressive win over Newport Central Catholic (8-4) 54-41 last week. The Girls KY Enquirer Coaches Poll has Boone County (12-4) ranked #1, followed by Notre Dame Academy (10-2), Simon Kenton, NewCath, and Conner (10-3).
NKY.com will be broadcasting the boys Holy Cross vs. Holmes game and the boys Pendleton County vs. Campbell County game on Friday. BROADCASTS
