| NewCath Girls Win 9th Region ALL A Classic |

The Newport Central Catholic girls basketball team won the 9th Region ALL A Classic and will head to Eastern Kentucky to play in the ALL A Classic State Tournament. The 'Breds defeated Bellevue Saturday evening to advance and will play Wednesday, January 31 at 9:00 AM vs Harlan. In the 10th Region, Brossart made it to the Regional Finals but lost a close one to Paris 43-41. You can view the Girls ALL A Bracket below:
Girls ALL A Classic State Tournament Bracket
This week, the boys will begin play in the ALL A Classic. The 9th Region boys games will be played at Newport High School, the 10th Region boys will be played at various sites the first two rounds with the Semi's and Finals being played at Bracken County High School.
