This year's senior class is full of athletic ability and experience. It's imperative they learn how to lead and develop a tougher mental attitude. This group of players will be challenged with lots of talent in the junior and sophmore classes. Dixie should have intense competition for many starting positions.
It should be an interesting year with the start of the 6 Class alignment in Kentucky. Dixie is in 5A with CovCath, Highlands, Holmes, and Scott. Their first four games will be against Beechwood, Simon Kenton, CovCath, and Highlands. This is a much different schedule layout with district games being played throughout the schedule instead of at the end of the season.
