CovCath 14 Beechwood 7
Beechwood was undefeated and the Colonels came into the game with only one win. Most everyone thought the Tigers would prevail in this one but CovCath stood strong to defeat Beechwood. CovCath also had a late goal line stand keeping the Tigers out of the endzone from the one-foot line.
Dayton 42 Lloyd 14
At one point Lloyd was winning this game 14-6 with about 1:30 left in the first half, but then threw an interception, and Dayton then scored to tie the game. The Green Devils then took over in the second half and never looked back winning another big game. Dayton improves to 5-1 while Lloyd falls to 1-4.
