Friday night was a night of "blow-outs" as the average margin of victory for the 9 local games was 32 points. The biggest blowout was Highlands over Scott 58-0. Then you had NewCath's 40-0 win over Newport to win the Firemen's Bell. The 'Breds got off to a slow start but scored 27 second quarter points to pull the game away. And in Dayton, the Greendevils handed the Bellevue Tigers a 35-8 loss. Bellevue had 4 first half turnovers, which led to three Dayton scores. And now these two teams will most probably meet again in the playoffs, which will be played at Dayton again.
