The Northern Kentucky baseball season has gotten off to a slow start this year because of all the rain. Most of the area's baseball teams have only played one or two games, but Beechwood has been fortunate enough to play six games already. Beechwood, ranked #3 in the Kentucky Enquirer Coaches poll, is off to a great start at 5-1 with wins over Campbell Cty, Calvary Christian, Piqua OH, Ludlow and South Oldham. There only loss was to Bullit East.
Some other teams with good starts this year: Lloyd (3-0), Highlands (3-0), Holy Cross (2-0) and Boone County (2-0).
