| 9th Region Boys All A Classic |

The semi-finals are set for this year's boys' 9th Region All A Classic at Newport High School. On Friday, January 23 Dayton will face Newport while NewCath will play St. Henry. The championship game will be played on Saturday.
Dayton (9-4) defeated Ludlow (4-14) 55-47 last night to advance, while Newport (9-9) has wins over a very good Beechwood team and Heritage Academy. On the other side of the bracket, NewCath (8-7) defeated Bellevue 69-38 and will face a St. Henry (10-8) team that has wins over Holy Cross and Lloyd for the tournament. This will also be a rematch from last year's 9th Region All A Finals game when the Crusaders defeated the Breds 64-50 to advance to the All A State Tournament.
