The Holmes Bulldogs were able to come back after trailing Louisville Central 37-30 midway through the third quarter to win the State Championship in double overtime.
Holmes defeated Elliot County earlier Saturday 67-57 before a packed house... all cheering for Elliot County. Then the Bulldogs came back against Central and found themselves trailing at halftime 30-21. The Bulldogs stared adversity in the face for the second time and made a valiant comeback in the second half.
