NKY High School Baseball Update

Northern Kentucky High School baseball is in their sixth week of action and despite several periods of rain, teams have been able to get several games played within conference play and tournaments.

The number one team in the Kentucky Enquirer Coaches Poll is CovCath (19-3) who just lost to Dixie (13-6), who is ranked fourth. Boone County (18-4) and NewCath (14-5) have also been playing well, and the Thorougbreds beat the Rebels this past Tuesday 7-5.

Recent Tournaments
Boone County won the Doc Morris Invitational with a Semi-Final win over NewCath and a Championship win over Campbell County 3-1. Campbell County had defeated Bellevue to make it to the Championship game.

Also, in the ALL A CLASSIC, Holy Cross has made it to the Quarterfinals of the All A Tournament and will play Bethlehem on Saturday, May 2 @ 12:30 PM.
