Northern Kentucky HS Football - Week 3
9/2/2010 - by NKS Editor
With two weeks of High School football in the books, all the NKY teams have at least one game in their pocket. As we head into Week 3 lets take a look at some of the match-ups.

NKYSports.com HS Football Game of the Week
This week's video broadcast features Madison Central at Newport Central Catholic on Friday. The Thoroughbreds are off to a 2-0 start and are looking to make it three in a row for their new head coach, Eddie Eviston. Last year, NewCath defeated the Indians 38-12. The broadcast for this game will begin at 7:30 P.M.

Simon Kenton at Dixie
Dixie bounced back last week with a 35-21 convincing win over the Beechwood Tigers to even their record at 1-1. And, Simon Kenton lost their season opener last week 34-0, but to a very tough opponent Middletown. Our Poll of the Week currently has 53% of the fans picking Dixie in this game. This should be an interesting game to watch.

Bellevue at Holmes
Holmes (1-0) won big over Lloyd last week 46-0 but will have a much tougher opponent in Bellevue this weekend. The Tigers (1-1) got off to a slow start last week with turnovers, but with the help of their solid running back, DJ Slater, they were able to comeback and hold on to a 35-34 win over Newport.
