 This week’s Game of the Week features the Conner Cougars (3-3) vs. the Ryle Raiders (4-2). Conner is coming off a 20-13 loss to Cooper last week while Ryle defeated Boone County 27-13. Since 2005, Ryle is 5-1 against Conner and won big last year 49-6. Both teams are led by good running quarterbacks. The Cougars are led by Drew Barker who has 854 rush yards and 13 rush TD’s. The Raiders are led by Nathan Davis who has 569 rush yards and 8 rush TD’s.

Last week’s Republic Bank Games of the Week featured Simon Kenton at Campbell County. The Camels won their first game of the year in a defensive battle 6-0. After each game, NKYSports.com selects a Player of the Game for each team and donates $25.00 to the school’s athletic department in the player’s name.
Simon Kenton’s Player of the Game was Jared Swanson who had 3 receptions for 42 yards. Campbell County’s Player of the Game was Tyler Durham who was the only player to score in the game.
