| Student Athlete Spotlight: Alex Scanlon |

|
Alex Scanlon is a Senior at Covington Catholic High School and plays on the Varsity Golf team. Last week, Alex shot a 2 under par (34) to lead the field of both Covington Catholic and Ryle varsity teams to help win the contest 154 - 156 overall. Alex earned medalist honors and it's the 5th time so far this season Alex has earned medalist honors for Covington Cathlic - 3 at major KHSAA tournaments in Kentucky and twice in local high school matches. Alex's current GPA is 3.65 and he ranks 19th out of 122 in his class. He is a member of the National Honor Society and volunteers at the Rose Garden Mission in Covington, KY.
