| NewCath and Brossart Advance to All A Semi-Finals |

Friday evening NewCath and Brossart both won their 2nd Round games in the All "A" Classic State Tournament to advance to the Semi-Finals on Saturday. NewCath's victory wasn't so easy though as they had to overcome poor free throw shooting to win the game in double OT. The Breds shot 20 of 50 from the charity line but 50% from 3-point range to defeat Mayfield 75-69.
In the later game, it was all Brossart from the get-go as they held Barboursville to 7 first half points. The Mustangs went on to finish the game 69-28.
Tomorrow, NewCath will play Owensboro Catholic at 3:00 PM with Brossart following up with Bardstown right after.
