| Coaches Poll: NKU Picked to Finish 5th in Atlantic Sun |

The Northern Kentucky University men's basketball team has been selected to finish fifth in the Atlantic Sun Preseason Coaches and Media Polls on Thursday.
Florida Gulf Coast was picked first. The other schools to finish ahead of NKU were North Florida, Lipscomb, and USC Upstate. No members of the Norse were selected for preseason All-Conference team of any of the other preseason awards.
FGSU's Bernard Thompson was selected as preseason Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.
Jordan Jackson led the Norse at 13.5 points and 2.9 assists per game a season ago and was second in the conference 1.5 steals a game.
Jackson, Tyler White and Jalen Billups were named to the All-Conference team by College Sports Madnes. NKU is also excited about incoming freshmen Tayler Persons and Jordan Garnett who will suit up for the Norse this season.
