Tigers Trounce Estill County |

The Estill County offense stepped onto the field for the first time of the game already losing 14-0 to the Bellevue Tigers. The Tigers recovered two onside kicks to begin the game and keep the Estill County offense on the sidelines.
On just the second play of the game, Senior James Duell rushed 36 yards on a reverse for the game’s first touchdown. After the second onside kick recovery, the Tigers capitalized with Junior Quarterback Roger Babb rushing into the end zone for the 10-yard touchdown.
Following the two touchdowns, the Estill County offense finally stepped onto the field. However, their possession was quickly taken away when Junior Derek Bryan intercepted the first of his two interceptions in the game.
The pursuing drive was capped off by a 1-yard touchdown run by Bobby Berns, his first career touchdown.
A deep pass set up a 2-yard touchdown run by Estill County’s Collins. The Bellevue Tigers went on to score two more touchdowns in the half to lead 35-6 at the half. In the second half, the Tigers began playing their second string and ended up winning the game 48-20.
The Tigers rushed for 273 yards on the ground and threw for 63 yards in the air. The defense also forced three fumbles and three interceptions.
