Conference play started tonight as we had some close games and some games not so close. The Boone County Rebels (1-3) down 15-2 in the 2nd Quarter scored 27 unanswered points to beat Simon Kenton (3-1) on the road for their first W of the season.
The Ryle/Campbell County game was close up to half-time as the Raiders held a 13-7 lead but the Camels (2-2) fell apart in the 2nd half and Ryle (3-1) pulled away with a 34-7 victory.
Teams that rolled easily to win tonight: Highlands over Southwestern, Dixie over Scott, CovCath over Beechwood and Dayton over Bracken County.
A couple tight games tonight had Ludlow (2-2) defeat Bellevue (2-2) 19-14 and Holmes (3-1) beat Conner (2-2) 15-8.
