| Beechwood Comes Back Over NewCath |

NewCath started early and often on the ground taking a 21-3 lead over Beechwood in the first-half. Beechwould would eventually score a TD right before half-time though, cutting the lead to 11. In the second half, it was all Beechwood, as they scored another 18 points on route to a 28-21 district win over NCC. The Beechwood Tigers scored 25 unanswered points starting late in the 2nd Quarter and improve their record to 4-2, while the 'Breds fall to 2-5 with 3 District games remaining. Now everyone is looking towards the Holy Cross vs. Beechwood game, which will be played October 27 at Beechwood.
