The OMEGA Processing / ProScan Imaging Game of the Week webcast features Cooper (7-4) vs Ryle (11-0).
The second round of the State Football Playoffs continues this weekend and for this week we have a Class 6A matchup between the Cooper Jaguars and Ryle Raiders.
Last week Cooper defeated Bryan Station easily 35-7 while Ryle took care of Henry Clay 47-3. These two teams met earlier this season and Ryle won in a shootout 49-42. So we’re expecting another great game at Ryle!

Game of the Week Replay
Senior RB Jose Torres was our ProScan Imaging Offensive Player of the Game as Dixie defeated Southern 37-12 in the first round of the State Playoffs. Torres had 4 TD runs for the Colonels.
Zach Borchers was our OMEGA Processing Defensive Player of the Game. The Junior DB had a key interception in the 2nd Quarter and several key defensive stops throughout the game.

Class 1A Playoffs
Louisville Holy Cross (7-4) at Beechwood (10-1)
Beechwood is our lone Class 1A team from NKY remaining in the playoffs. They defeated Eminence last week 56-6 and should have no problems with Louisville Holy Cross this Friday.

Class 2A Playoffs
Lloyd (6-5) at NewCath (6-5)
Holy Cross (8-3) at Walton-Verona (7-4)
This Regional is shaping up as thought so far. NewCath defeated Carroll County last week 43-6, Lloyd beat Gallatin County 44-0, Walton-Verona defeated Newport 50-0, and Holy Cross took care of Owen County 55-12.
Earlier this season NewCath beat Lloyd 28-18 and Holy Cross defeated Walton 44-0.

Class 5A Playoffs
Doss (6-5) at CovCath (8-3)
Dixie (6-5) at Fern Creek (9-2)
There will be no matchup between Highlands and CovCath this season as Highlands lost to Doss last week 52-32. So Doss will play CovCath on Friday who defeated Fairdale 63-7 in the first round. Meanwhile, Dixie will travel to play Fern Creek. Dixie defeated Southern last week 37-12. And we could potentially see a Regional Championship between Dixie and CovCath next week.

Cooper (7-4) at Ryle (11-0)
Campbell County (4-7) at Simon Kenton (10-1)
Conner (9-2) at Scott County (9-2)
NKY still has 5 Class 6A teams remaining in the playoffs and this weekend provides us with some great games. Our Game of the Week should be a great game to watch between Cooper and Ryle. We expect Simon Kenton to have no problems with Campbell County as they beat them earlier this season 50-20. Conner will have their hands full with Scott County on the road.
