Camels Improve to 2-0 With 27-14 Win Over West Jessamine |

First year head coach Troy Styer finds himself undefeated after two games, defeating West Jessamine 27-14 Friday night at Bob Miller stadium. The Camels dominated the first quarter, opening up a 14-6 lead, which would become a 21-6 bulge by halftime.
The Camels were forced to overcome a West Jess momentum swing at the start of the second half when the Colts paraded down the field for a touchdown and two point conversion, making it 21-14 and putting Big Mo in a red and white uniform.
The Camels were up to the task, answering the Colts challege on the very next possession as Johnny Popp scored on a 65 yard sideline scamper, putting his squad up 27-14, setting the stage for the Camels second win of the season.
While it is extremely early in the season and a tough AAAA schedule looms, it would be nice to see these Camels post their first winning season since 1994. Enthusiasm is high!
Unofficially, Popp finished with over 200 yards with two TDs in the contest and Steven Brown the quarterback ran for over 100 yards and a TD.
The Camels will host Lebanon (OH) next Friday night at Bob Miller Stadium on a game to be broadcast LIVE on Northernkentuckysports.com
