| NCC Brings 'A' Game to 9th Region All 'A' Final |

NewCath jumped out on St. Henry early and would never look back as the 'Breds went on to win the 9th Region All "A" Classic 66-54 over the Crusaders.
In the first quarter, the 'Breds kept getting the ball down low to their big man, Zach Kiernan. St. Henry had no answer for the 6'7 Sr. and the 'Breds led 13-5 after the 1st quarter. In the second quarter, NCC started connecting on 3-pointers as well and went into half-time with a 34-22 lead.
In the second half, St. Henry would eventually dwindle the lead down to three at 57-54 with 1:53 to go. The Crusaders then stole a long-court pass on the press and turned it right back to NCC, and from that point on the 'Breds went on to score 9 unanswered points.
Zach Kiernan was named the tournament MVP and the Thoroughbreds will now face Bishop Brossart in the Kentucky State All "A" Classic being played at Eastern Kentucky University. Bishop Brossart defeated Bracken County 51-29 to win the 10th Region All "A" Classic.
