With just 3 weeks left in the regular season for Northern Kentucky High School baseball, teams are preparing for District and Regional play. CovCath (18-7), Ryle (17-5), Highlands (17-10), St. Henry (15-9), and Holy Cross (14-6) are currently playing their best ball. Holy Cross defeated CovCath earlier this week with a tight 2-1 win.
In the All A Classic, Beechwood played Lexington Christian in the semi-state game and the game was called due to lightning with the game tied 7-7 in extra innings. The game was continued the following Monday and Beechwood won 8-7. They will advance to the All A Classic State Tournament in Lexington.
