Highlands 24 Trotwood Madison 20
Highlands jumped out to a 15-0 lead but Trotwood fought back to make it a 15-14 game at halftime. In the 4th Quarter, Trotwood took the lead at 20-18 but Highlands responded with about 6 minutes to play with a 51-yard Tony Guidugli pass to Josh Conner. Conner also rushed for 111 yards and an 11-yard TD run.
NewCath 9 CovCath 0
Defense was the name of this game as no points were scored until the 3rd Quarter. Rob Kues hit Matt Ritter with a 44-yard touchdown pass for their only TD but that was enough as NCC's defense held CovCath scoreless. NewCath has only allowed 6 points in their first two games.
Beechwood 20 Lloyd 0
This game was much closer than what the score shows. Erlanger Lloyd was only down 10-0 going into the 4th Quarter but Beechwood scored 10 more points to finish the game as they defeated Beechwood's former coach, Mike Yeagle.
