Week 4 Preview - Northern Kentucky Football |
|
9/13/2007 - by NKS Editor |
|
This week we have 6 NKY District games going on and probably one of the biggest is Ryle at Campbell County. Ryle (2-1) won a close one over NewCath (2-1) last week 23-18 while Campbell County was shut out by Boone County (2-1) 28-0. (NKY.com BROADCAST)
Other games of interest include:
Beechwood (3-0) at Bishop Brossart (0-2)
What makes this game interesting is it will be Brossart's first official varsity home game. Beechwood will score a lot of points but look for Brossart to put up a few TDs as well.
Highlands (3-0) at Dixie (2-1)
Highlands has been very tough their first 3 games and Dixie is coming off a huge win over CovCath. This is a District game that should feature a lot of points and look for the Bluebirds' running game to keep on chugging. (NKY.com BROADCAST)
Bellevue (3-0) at NewCath (2-1)
NewCath is coming off a tough loss to Ryle and will face an undefeated Bellevue team that has already beat Newport. This is no longer a District game though as NewCath has moved to 2A.
Remaining games this week:
Boone County as Conner
Grant County at Owen County
Ludlow at Dayton
Henry County at Pendleton County
Lexington Christian at Lloyd
Scott at CovCath (SATURDAY CovCath Radio BROADCAST)
