Northern Kentucky Football - Week 7 |

District play begins again for Week 7 featuring some local rivalry games. The most compelling rivalry game this week showcases Bellevue (5-1) at Dayton (5-1). Bellevue is 2-0 in their District while Dayton is 1-1, but Bellevue has yet to play Beechwood yet. Last year, Dayton defeated Bellevue 20-19 at Bellevue. Look for another very close and competitive game this year. (NKY.com BROADCAST)
The rivalry between Newport Central Catholic (4-1) and Newport (1-4) isn't as big this year, especially with Newport having a down year. Newport's only win has come against Brossart so look for NewCath to blow this one out early. (NKY.com BROADCAST)
Another game to keep an eye on is Simon Kenton (3-2) at Boone County (3-2). Boone County will be the favorite, but Simon Kenton has won their past three games, including a win over Ryle. Both teams are 2-0 in their district.
Other games this weekend:
Dixie at Holmes
Scott at Highlands
Brossart at Ludlow (Mustangs BROADCAST)
Conner at Ryle
Harrison County at Pendleton County
Oldham County at Grant County
Lloyd at Holy Cross (Saturday)
Beechwood at Prestonsburg (Saturday)
