This will be another week of non-district play as we head into Week 8 for Northern Kentucky High School football. And, we have a Thursday night game this week featuring Boone County (4-2) at Dixie (3-3). Boone County is coming off a 41-3 win over Simon Kenton last week while Dixie will try to recover from a disappointing loss to Holmes. Dixie will have their hands full too as their defense will be defending against the top running back in Northern Kentucky, Cory Farris, who has 1249 yards rushing and 15 touchdowns. Another interesting match-up this weekend is Campbell County (4-2) at Holmes (2-4). Campbell County is coming off their bye week and the Bulldogs upset Dixie last week 33-20. If Holmes brings their "A" game, look for this to be a very close and competitve game.
