Week 9 offers some very good District games for Northern Kentucky football. One of those games being Boone County (5-2; 3-0) at Ryle (6-2; 2-1). Both teams are following up high scoring performances from last week. Boone County defeated Dixie 43-27 with Cory Farris running for 312 yards and 3 touchdowns. And, Ryle is coming off a 55-10 win over Fern Creek where Adam Schmitz scored 6 touchdowns in the first half! (NKY.com BROADCAST)
Another good 6A match-up features Simon Kenton (4-3) at Campbell County (5-2). Simon Kenton had upset Ryle earlier in the season and is also coming off an unbelievable 42-41 win over Russell last week where they kicked the winning field goal with no time left on the clock. Campbell County defeated Holmes 21-12 last week, and currently owns a three game win streak. (NKY.com BROADCAST)
And how about a sleeper game for this week? If Holmes want to beat CovCath, this is the year to do it. Both teams come into this game at 2-5 and Holmes has already beaten Dixie, which CovCath lost to earlier in the season.
