Rob Kues scored on a touchdown run to defeat the Campbell County Camels 26-23 in the first OT. This was a very close game throughout the entire game as no team had a lead of more than seven points. After the first quarter the score was 7-7, after halftime it was 13-13, and then at the end of regulation it was 20-20.
Campbell County had the first possession in the Overtime and kicked a field goal to make it 23-20. On the Breds' possession they were also stopped on 3 downs and had to settle for the field goal, but Campbell County was called for running into the kicker giving NewCath an automatic first down and a second chance to score a winning touchdown. Two plays later, Rob Kues scampered into the endzone giving the Breds' a hard fought 26-23 OT victory.
Surprise of the night!? Dixie defeating Ryle 45-10. The game was tied at halftime 10-10, but then Dixie scored 35 unanswered points in the second half as the wheels fell off for Ryle. Marty Molony scored 5 TD's on the night where he rushed 34 times for 177 yards.
