Offense Dominates Week 3 for NKY Football |

Friday night provided some high scoring games on a perfect night for playing football. The offensive power provided some a few blowouts and some very close games!
Conner 64 Lloyd 0
Nick West was providing the offense as usual but this time through the air. Most of West's offensive production has been on the ground this year, but last night Conner aired it out with West completing 15-20 passes for 351 yards and 4 TDs.
Simon Kenton 49 Dixie 28
Miles Simpson is back! The senior running back, coming off an injured ankle, rushed for 186 yards and 5 TDs to lead the Pioneers. Last week Simpson only had 31 yards.
Highlands 48 Beechwood 20
The two teams combined fo 844 yards, 514 of them belonged to the Bluebirds. Highlands started early with 2 long pass plays of 70 and 38 from Bardo to Buten, and the Bluebirds never looked back. The halftime score was only 20-3, but Austin Collinsworth added a couple more touchdowns in the second half to pull away.
NewCath 28 Madison Central 12
The Breds bounce back this week with their first win of the early season. Chris Kelly led NewCath with 237 rush yards and 3 TDs.
Newport 35 Pendleton County 14
Demetri Brown was 14-20 for 291 yards and 4 TDs to lead the Wildcats, and give head coach, Nick Rice, his first win.
Campbell Cty 31 Roger Bacon 28
The Camels scored on the final drive of the night to come back and beat Roger Bacon. Michael Kremer led the Camels with 351 passing yards and 2 TDs.
Cooper 28 Scott 27
Down 21-6 with 3:00 to go in the 3rd quarter, Cooper staged a comeback with 28 points in the second half. The Jaguars were led by Dvontae Bradley who rushed for 268 yards and 2 TDs to give Cooper their first ever 2-0 start.
