Last year, Becky Sprong was living the normal life of any married, working, 38 year old woman. While at work, she suffered a heart attack and was miraculously brought back to life. Becky’s heart was failing, so she had a defibrillator implanted.
This past summer, Becky’s heart became weaker. She became too weak to work and had to quit her job. After exhausting all possibilities, her doctors decided the best treatment would be a heart transplant.
Becky is currently at the Cleveland Clinic and has thankfully been accepted on the heart transplant list. She will stay at the Cleveland Clinic until she receives her new
heart, which could take a long time.
Becky’s friends and family are organizing a fundraiser
to aid in payment of her current and future medical expenses.
